Ranako is a chimpanzee originally born in Tanzania and later raised in Banana Leaf Forrest in Nairobi, Kenya. 

 

He is the youngest of 4 siblings.  He has one brother close in age to him, and the other two are his much older sisters.  Due to the wide gap in age, Ranako is closest to his brother, with whom they share a tight-knit brotherly bond.  (Don't get it twisted, they drive each other bananas also!  You should see Ranako's nose flair in a heated argument!)

 

Ranako is usually seen as the more responsible of the two, with his brother being more "floopy" - a stark contrast to Ranako's extremely responsible personality.  Ranako however admires his brother's "floopy-ness" and together, they are a strong team.

 

Ranako dreams to be a teacher someday to help educate other animals who are struggling to find their place in the world.
